Rescue Central

As a team of dedicated pet healthcare professionals, we do everything in our power to provide high quality veterinary care to pets all over central Florida.  What few realize, is that since opening our doors in 2008, Park Avenue Animal Hospital also provides the same top-notch medical care and support to homeless pets being cared for by over a dozen local animal rescue organizations. Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other domestic and wild animals are brought to PAAH on an almost daily basis so that they can be spayed, neutered, vaccinated, or have other medical services performed before going out for adoption or release.

As our business has evolved, so has our website. We have continually developed ParkAvenueVets.com to be a comprehensive, interactive website with the goal in mind to provide an information hub for our clients. Now, we are pleased to announce the addition of Rescue Central. This new section of our website enables our established rescue group partners to use ParkAvenueVets.com as an extension of their existing websites, to connect with potential adoption and foster families.

Rescue Central is housed within the ParkAvenueVets.com website, however it is operated exclusively and independently by the rescue groups listed within.  It is the responsibility of each rescue group to post and maintain any and all information on any and all animals posted within Rescue Central. PAAH does provide a majority of services for a majority of the adoptable pets listed within Rescue Central, the staff and doctors of PAAH do NOT guarantee the health or behavior of any animal adopted from any of the rescue groups that utilize Rescue Central. Pets who are adopted through any rescue group, regardless of veterinary affiliation, should be taken to your veterinarian of choice for an examination as soon as possible.

If you’re looking for a new furry friend, or if you’re just looking for an excellent charitable group to support, feel free to navigate the pages within Rescue Central and contact the affiliated rescue groups with questions about any of their available pets.
