Bags of Hope - Thank you!
Park Avenue Animal Hospital has been participating with Bags of Hope of Central Florida for several months, collecting dog and cat food to distribute among people living homeless across central Florida. Bags of Hope distributes basic supplies to the homeless with the idea that by showing them that there are people in the world who still care, who haven’t forgotten them, they will be more receptive to receiving the help they need to get back on track.
Recently, a representative from Bags of Hope posted their appreciation of our support on our own Facebook page, but also asked us to let them know of any food that needed to be picked up; they were in need of food to help support two large-breed dogs. The VERY NEXT DAY… Over 200 POUNDS of food was delivered to our office.
PAAH is proud to be partnered with Bags of Hope, and thankful for their efforts to give hope and help to those who are often overlooked. We are humbled and incredibly grateful to our clients, who never cease to amaze us by their selflessness, kindness, and generosity.
