Help Us Help
Park Avenue Animal Hospital is participating with Bags of Hope of Central Florida to collect new, unopened bags and cans (easy-open/pull-tab) of dog and cat food to distribute among people living homeless across central Florida. Often, these people have pets that they keep with them after losing their home, or they befriend strays along the way. Bags of Hope distributes basic supplies to the homeless with the idea that by showing them that there are people in the world who still care, who haven’t forgotten them, they will be more receptive to receiving the help they need to get back on track. New or clean/gently used pet supplies such as collars and leashes, beds, treats, and toys will also be graciously accepted.
