Featuring Seaver, The Dog Wonder!

This weekend, Park Avenue Animal Hospital visited The Avian Reconditioning Center and Dr. Rick got to release a red-shouldered hawk that had been under ARC’s care for several weeks after suffering from a wing fracture. The fracture healed very nicely and ARC’s Master Falconer was able to evaluate the flight capability of this bird, then rehabilitate using traditional falconry techniques. On Saturday afternoon, the sun was bright and the headwinds were plentiful and this beautiful specimen of one of Florida’s most common birds of prey flew to freedom.
