Another wonderful Visit
Had to take my yorky in again because of seizures and Dr Rick and staff met my wife at the door and took care of Bradley. They kept him all day and observed him. Today he is doing just great also slept great last night. Another checkup in two weeks. We are so happy with the Park Avenue Vet office. A God Sent.

Wonderful People
When I first meet Dr Turgai at a dog park event I knew we were going to like the service and the people involved with the Park Avenue Vets. I have 5 dogs, 3 Berger Picards (winn dixie dogs) and 2 Yorky's. I have taken all my dogs in for a checkup and everything,We have dealt with ever vet in the Apopka area and we have found the best.Just this morning my oldest Yorky had a seisure and I took him in without no appointment and they saw him within 30 minutes. They are one class act vet of***e ,the vet techs, receptionest and all are great. They always treat your pet like they are special(they are). Thanks Guys for opening a wonderful place to take our pets when they need the best.

When I saw the invitation on FaceBook to send in a testimonial to Park Avenue Animal Hospital, I was moved to tears by some of the comments. Then I saw that back in March, 2009, I wrote to say thank you. At that time, I wrote: "How to say thank you for all you do. In almost 4 years of rescue, Dr. Rick and Dr. John are the first vets who agreed to meet with our foster volunteers and teach them the principles of good foster care for the kittens and cats that come into our care. How often do I call late in the day with a situation that is responded to with "come on in" - even when it is at the end of the day. Your staff is professional, caring and we are so grateful for all you do to help us help those discarded by irresponsible people. Your office is so clean, your equipment on the cutting edge and your staff is dedicated. It's nice to see people who truly love their jobs - unlike other offices where you can see the employees are not there because they like the boss but because it's a pay check. On behalf of Candy's Cats, thank you so much. We are so grateful." I really can't add too much more except that: 1. Memorial Weekend 2010, 11 p.m. on Saturday night. Dr. Rick met me on an emergency when one of our kitties had an allergic reaction. 2. Father's Day, 2010, another emergency met by Dr. Rick. 3. Superbowl Sunday, 2011, Dr. John showing up to meet another emergency. You name the emergency, it is met by Dr. Rick and Dr. John. Since being part of the clinic, we have yet to use the ER vets. More: Your cat or dog is sick? They take you in, give you sound advice, send you home and then call you that night and again a few days later to see if you have any questions, concerns and to make suggestions. Staff? From the minute you walk in the door - Amber, Jessica, Barbara, Meg - all are so warm and wonderful, the vet techs and everyone is just superb! And the most amazing thing? We're a rescue group - they treat our rescue fosters like they're your personal pets - there is no difference in how they treat them. Most vets that help rescue groups treat our volunteers like they are second class citizens, if a "real, paying" client comes in, the rescue gets pushed to the back of the line (even though our rescue spends easily $50,000 a year in vet bills) - to be treated with the respect that we are given from everyone at Park Avenue - it's absolutely God-inspired. Love all of you and that is why my 7 persona cats and mom's dog are clients of yours as well!

OUR OPAL HAD A STROKE, YOUNG CAT, AND MET DR. T. FIRST, HE IS SO GENTLE, CARING, AND CONCERNED, HE EVEN ON HIS DAY OFF TWICE, CALLED US, BELIEVE IT, MY OWN DR. WON'T DO THAT.. TO SEE HOW OPAL WAS DOING. DR. RUBENSTEIN'S GENTLE WAY WITH HER AND US, NEVER RUNNING OUT OF PATIENTS WITH OUR QUES. AND CALLING US BACK AFTER HRS. NEVER IN A HURRY, EXPLAINING MEDS, AND SO GENUINELY CONCERNED AS IF OPAL WERE IS OWN.. EVEN THE STAFF, BARBARA, JESSICA, AND ALL THE REST OF THE STAFF WHO MEETS US AT THE DOOR WITH A SMILE AND WELCOME. ONE CAN "FEEL" THE SENSE OF LOVE AND CARING AND SAFETY UPON ENTERING THE DOOR. FYI.. PTL, OUR OPAL IS WALKING, USING HER BOX, AND BACK TO HER OWN LITTLE SELF.. MIRACLES DO HAPPEN WITH GOD AND PARK AVENUE ANIMAL HOSPITAL AND SO MANY ANGELS GOD PUT IN OUR LIVES. NOW WE HAVE ANOTHER FUR-BABY, "POKA DOT".. WHO'S HIP CAME OUT OF ITS SOCKET. DR. RUBENSTEIN, FIRST TRIED TO SLIP IT BACK IN UNDER SEDATION, IT DID NOT WORK, AND DR. RUBENSTEIN WILL BE OPERATING ON OUR LITTLE POKA DOT TOMORROW.. HE COULD NOT BE IN BETTER HANDS, EVEN WHEN HE WENT "POTTY" IN THE BOC, THE TECH, IMMEDIATELY TOOK HIM BACK AND WASHED HIM, AND EVEN OFFERED TO WAS THE CARRIER.. HOW TLC IS THAT.. DR. RUBENSTEN TOOK HIS TIME TO EXPLAIN THE XRAY AND THE PROCEDURE. HE SENT POKA DOT HOME TO WAIT ON THE SURGERY MONDAY, AND GAVE HIM SOMETHING TO EASE HIS PAIN, HE IS COMFORTABLE, AND TRUSTING WAITING FOR DR. RUBENSTEIN TO MAKE HIM ALL BETTER.. WHEN ONE ENTERS THE DOORS OF PARK AVE. ANIMAL HOSPITAL, ALL ARE TREATED AS KINGS AND QUEENS, NO MATTER WHAT OUR FINANCIAL SITUATION IS... THE ANIMALS COME FIRST.. WORDS DON'T CUT IT TO SAY JUST HOW VERY VERY GRATEFUL WE ARE TO BE BLESSED WITH SUCH A TEAM AS DR. RICK RUBENSTEIN AND DR. JOHN AND STAFF. GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU AS YOU BLESS US ALL. ONE NEVER STANDS SO TALL AS WHEN ONE REACHES DOWN TO HELP THOSE SO SMALL. TRULY YOU ARE VERY "BIG" MEN.

We have been in Florida for the past 2 years and have yet to find a vet and facility we were happy with until today! We have a newly adopted 2nd greyhound, and based on a recommendation from Gold Coast Greyhounds, we have finally fond what we were looking for. From the first contact with Amber on the phone to meeting the staff including Dr. Rick, we had a wonderful first visit and will be back for many more. Everyone was kind and very generous with their time as well. I will gladly travel the 45 min. from my home for the exceptional care & service they provide. From, Cindy, Dash & Bayou

Thank you dr Rick ! I just bought a yorkie had her shipped in from out of state and upon arrival she was vomiting, I called this hospital to see if they could work makayla in to their busy schedule. The receptionist was so very kind and gave us an appointment to come in with in the hour. When I arrived the vet tech was so gentle and kind I was so very impressed! I will take all my furry kids in to see dr Rick! I have already referred two people just today!!!! Thanks for being so very kind and for assuring me makayla faith is going to be just fine!

I wanted to make sure that I let everyone know just how happy I have been with the care at Park Avenue Animal Hospital. Dr. John and his staff are by far the BEST that we have ever had. I volunteer with Greyhound Rescue and have met and been to numerous vets, I can honestly say that you will never find a more thorough or caring vet around. Thank you to PAAH for all the great care that my 4-leggers have received. :)) Barbara McGuire and the McGuire pack

Dr. Rubinstein is by far the best Vet I have ever had. He has a great way of dealing with difficult animals. I was told by an emergency clinic that my little kitten, Jade, needed to be put down. She was only 4 months old and they said she had FIV. Dr. Rubinstein received notice that Jade saw the emergency vet and called me immediately that Sunday night to check on her. He said he wanted to see her first thing Monday morning and we could make a decision on her treatment. She was so little and so innocent that it would have been very hard for me to put her down. After Dr. Rubinstein looked at her he said she was really a fighter and he wanted to do a blood transfusion and a weekly treatment of ImmunoRegulin for a few weeks, which was eventually decreased to every other week, then stopped. He used his office cat Bonnie for the procedure. After a few months passed after stopping treatment, he tested her again and NO FIV!!! She made a full recovery and is now a happy, healthy (well, a little bit “fluffy” around the middle) 7 year old cat. She wouldn’t be alive if it was not for Dr. Rubinstein. He is an amazing vet!

Our Center is so very fortunate to have the support of Park Avenue Animal Hospital and Drs. Rick Rubinstein and John Turgai. As supporters of our Center, Park Avenue Animal Hospital (PAAH) has joined ARC in our quest to bring hawks, owls, eagles, and other birds of prey back to nature, by providing medical support to our vast array of magnificent birds of prey. The services they provide to our Center are phenomenal and do so much to help us provide quality veterinarian care. Their professional approach to all animal care is apparent every time we come to see them, whether we need x-rays, surgery or other diagnostics the Doctors and their excellent staff are always ready to help.

PAAH has given all of my pets the most compasionate and thorough care.I can't say enough about their team of caring techs, receptionists and the clinical excellent of both of their physiians. The also work with a number of rescue organizations helping rescue and rehome dogs and cats to find their forever home. If you love your pets like family, then PAAH will take good care of them. Thank you from all our family. Heather, Sadie, Rubi, Newton and Ernie
